CZECH LEAGUE – 17TH ROUND OF THE 2ND LEAGUE: 1. FC BRNO – FK BANÍK SOKOLOV 1-0 (1-0)

March 8 at Městský fotbalový stadion Srbská took place meet 17th Czech round league match between FC Brno and Banika Sokolov. The duel ended with the victory of FC Brno 1-0. The match was watched by 3,165 spectators.

The teams performing here in the history of direct duels met five times. Eleven FC Brno have won three times, draw two without losing any match.

Not much has happened on the pitch since the beginning of the game. It can be said that one of the most important events in the firstminmatch was to punish the player with a card. In the seventh minute the referee showed the card to Karl Hasil of Banik Sokolov.

The only goal of the match was scored by Jakub Šural for team FC Brno. The goal fell in the same minute. Six minutes before the end of the first half, the referee showed the card to Pavel Dreks, FC Brno footballer.

In the 40th minute, Šimon Šumbera was replaced by Antonín Růsek. The first half ended with a modest lead from FC Brno.

From the 49th minute, the referee tried to calm down the game by showing three yellow cards to the players of Banika Sokolov and two opposing teams. Between 69 and 80 minutes, the players of Banika Sokolov left the field: Jakub Kopřiva, Marek Krátký, Stanislav Vávra, and Ondřej Machuča, Daniel Kovář and Marek Červenka came in to replace them. Also in the opposing team the coach ordered castling on the pitch, Adam Fousk and Jan Hladík were replaced by: Ondrej Pachlopník, Damián Bariš. There were no goals in the second half.
